Flame Detector, with integrated infrared sensors and a 90 degree field of view, is the choice for detection of hydrocarbon fires in environments where UV radiation sources are likely to be present, such as:

Metal grinding
Lightning
Electrical arc and unprotected halogen lighting.

Advanced detection technology ensures virtually instantaneous flame recognition and alarm. On detection, it transfers alarm signals to receiving control devices in control and operations rooms and on fire alarms and burglar/fire alarm systems.

This configuration allows optimal sensitivity to hydrocarbon fires while rejecting false signals from incandescent lamps, sunlight and hot objects.
